2.Characteristics

AgCdO contacts belong ti the group of the most widely used ones on the field of low voltage electric apparatus.As a result of the unique nature of CdO which have a strong cooling  effect to arc,they combine a satisfactory resistance against welding with a good arc erosion resistance and a fairly low contact material over its complete service life.So they were once known as universal contact material.The property of resistance against contact welding is improved with increasing Cd content,but those properties are also increasing in contact resistance and temperature rising,reducing the plasticity at the same time materieds'.

We used a unique technology of internal oxidation,AgCdO materials have the following characteristics:CdO particles have a uniform distribution and particle size between 0.8-2.5um.AgCdO materials shows good workability and excellent electrical performance.
